WHAT IS COCOA HUSK TEA?
Cocoa Husk Tea is simply the shell of the cocoa beans.
After cracking open the pod, the seeds inside are extracted and left to ferment.
They are then dried under the sun - that's when they take the name cocoa beans - and roasted.
After roasting, the shells are separated from the beans.
The nibs will be sent to the grinder to make the delicious chocolate that we know.
The shells will become a lovely loose leaf tea.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF COCA HUSK TEA?
It is rich in Vitamin Bs, A, Iron, Zinc and Magnesium.
It is also packed with antioxidants and contains very low calories and sugar, making it the perfect alternative for diabetics.
The level of caffeine is also very low, making it a great alternative to coffee if you want to reduce your caffeine intake.
It is commonly known to be a mood booster, thanks to its high level of Theobromine.
HOW CAN I USE IT?
Infuse 1/2 teaspoon in 200ml hot water to make your cocoa husk tea.
You can have it plain or with milk of your choice and your favourite sweetener.
You can also be creative and infuse it with other spices, ie: vanilla, cinnamon, ginger...
You can serve it hot or cold.
